Why do you charge so much?

How much is your time worth? How much more will you be able to make once you have a professional website? My time is as valuable to me as yours is to you. I have spent the last ten years perfecting the skills which allow me to ensure my clients receive a professional and effective website. I feel that my prices reflect the time I’ve spent developing my skills. There are plenty of people who charge less than I do, and a great many who charge more.

What are your payment terms?

I require a 50% deposit prior to beginning a project. Depending on the scope of the project, remaining balances may be billed in 25% increments, or balance upon project completion.

Why do you require a deposit?

Quite frankly, because I’ve been burned too many times by too many people. I’ve realised that when people don’t have an investment in something, they don’t tend to value the time and effort that goes into it. Because of that tendency, I require a deposit so that we both have something invested.

Do you offer refunds?

Nope. Once I’ve spent time developing a site for you, I can never get that time back. I’m more than happy to spend whatever time it takes to ensure your satisfaction on your site; but I don’t offer refunds when I’ve already done the work.

Is stock photography included in the cost of my site?

If you have specific images you want incorporated into your design, you are responsible for purchasing the proper license of those images, and providing the high resolution images to me. If I choose stock photography for elements of your design, then any costs incurred with the licensing of said photography is included in the quoted fee.
